Emmy-nominated Trevor Cawood is a director whose work runs the gamut from TV to advertising to feature films. Spots for brands such as Citroen, GMC and Verizon highlight his reel. Outside of advertising, his film directorial debut, Terminus, premiered and won an award at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival and earned first place at Fantastic Fest, HollyShorts, Sonoma International Film Festival, and the Montréal Just For Laughs festival. Cawood's feature film work includes technical director credits on The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions.


In addition to multiple Emmy nominations, Cawood's accolades include CLIO awards, a D&AD award, and recognition from Creativity magazine (Directors to Watch 2008).


When not directing through Anonymous, Cawood is a partner at his own visual effects studio, The Embassy, whose artists recently worked on the Oscar-nominated visual effects for District 9, Iron Man, as well as the upcoming Iron Man 2. Cawood is represented in Canada and some regions in Europe for directing work through Spy Films. Prior to joining Anonymous, Cawood helmed via Biscuit Filmworks.


Cawood, while mostly self-taught, attended the University of California, Berkeley, the University of Regina, and the Center for Digital Imaging and Sound in British Columbia. His hobbies include horticulture, scuba diving, watching documentaries, and practicing Israeli Martial Arts.
