There are those who wear masks to hide.
And those who wear masks to show us what they stand for.

Activision’s new teaser for Call of Duty: Ghosts “Masked Warriors” avoids the usual deluge of game footage and offers instead insights of the game’s backstory. Mark Romanek filmed over two days at Los Angeles Center Studios on a beautifully crafted set depicting a war-torn city, 25 feet high x 75 wide.

“Masked Warriors” is a series of dynamic, kinetic portraits of masked warriors from all eras—a Japanese Samurai, Viking, Gladiator, Maori Warrior, Goroka Mud Man, WWI Sniper, etc. The film takes us on a journey, pushing through dense foliage to reveal a hunched figure in the brush, who ultimately emerges out of darkness to reveal he is a Ghost.

ADFREAK is a fan of Romanek’s dramatic teaser via 72andsunny, which is well on its way to going viral. Read the review HERE.
